This beautiful pair of two-tier end tables by French house Maison Baguès was created with solid bamboo shaped brass and beautiful garnet red lacquer tops in the early 1960s. The lacquered tops are timeless and smooth, while the brass bamboo feet details provide an imaginative base for the piece. Its tapered feet and clean design are typical of the French neoclassical work by Maison Baguès and Maison Jansen, and offer a timeless, sophisticated look, simple, yet with plenty of amazing details. Fully cleaned, restored, and relacquered, with a beautiful brass patina, these pieces are in really good vintage condition.
