“It will take her a generation to understand wicker,” Marella Agnelli supposedly once sniffed of an ‘80s parvenu and her too-glitzy decor. While we like to think Donna Agnelli was kinder than that, the quip zeroes in on wicker’s je ne sais quoi, which this piece has in spades: an original mirror, new lacquer tabletop, and pitch-perfect details like a charming braided frame and unfussy iron legs. What’s not to understand? Without a doubt, this would be any boudoir's most playful, eye-catching accent.
