Isabelle Azema is a French furniture designer and a lawyer who began her career in design in 1991, exposing her creations and designs in multiple publications and exhibitions till this day. Her work combines the formal beauty of furniture and their practicality. The designer’s wooden pieces give importance to nature, appreciating its origins and at the same time figuring itself into forms from our natural surroundings such as trees and frozen landscapes touched by the first snow. Isabelle Azema questions the symmetry and therefore adds intriguing details in her pieces.
