Description
American Neoclassic drop leaf breakfast table with an acanthus carved pedestal base. This magnificent solid single board table top is mounted with two hinged drop leaves, cut with dimpled corners, and supported by pairs of butterfly brackets. The fixed top is framed by a conforming figured mahogany veneer apron, flanked by dies with acorn pendants. The turned and acanthus carved pedestal is supported by four lion’s shank legs, and capped with acanthus carved knees continuing to lion’s paw feet on brass castors.
