Description Arts and Crafts pedestal table by Otto Wretling (1876-1971), comprised of the most essential geometric elements–circular top, square pedestal raked square base–all having handsomely carved motifs and textures, with the top finished in a rustic gouged texture with wave pattern encircling the sides, the leg and base having panels of gouged texture with a chestnmut leaf motif at the top of each side of the leg, crafted in solid oak in the designer’s cabinetmaking workshop in Umeå, Sweden, between 1905-1920. Signed by Wretling in pencil on the underside of the table top.
