This stunning pair of Mid-Century Modern side / end tables were realized in the United States circa 1950. They feature two rectangular tiers joined by four subtly splayed cylindrical legs that boast sculptural curvilinear embellishments at their apexes where they connect to the base of the upper table top. The pieces have been realized in a beautiful silver cerused finish that highlights the beautiful natural grain of the oak in silver against a dark background. Subtly dynamic and full of powerful restraint, these tables are a study in the quiet elegance of great design. With their monochromatic palate and clean modernist lines, these tables are as versatile as they are beautiful, blending with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly restored to mint condition.
