Paolo Barracchia macassar ebony marquetry brass coffee table 1978
-
Description
Designed by Paolo Barracchia for Roman Deco in Roma during the late 1970s, this beautiful coffee table features strong silky brass legs, with a beautiful wood marquetry top featuring macassar ebony, padouk and sycamore, with four brass diamond inlays. Its symmetry and strong architectural design combine to create a nice Italian 1970s feel. It looks strong yet elegant, and offers a timeless look. Its light-reflecting brass structure and varnished marquetry top would easily fit with contemporary interiors for a very subtle infusion of mid-century modern verve. Fully restored, this rare table is found in a great vintage condition.
