    Spectacular and dramatic stalagmite coffee table by Paul Evans, circa 1969. This coffee table which was part of the "Sculptured Metal Collection" for Directional. Model PE-128. Signed and dated PE 69. The sculpted metal table resembles a ring of stalagmites. Brutalist design style with thick impasto of bronze resin over steel framework. 3/4" thick 42" diameter glass top. Base measures 28" diameter. Base in excellent condition and glass has age appropriate wear. A few scratches are present to the glass top.
