Condition Good. One tile replaced, professionally painted to match. Otherwise all-original. Wear consistent with age and use. Overall very good, hairlines in a few tiles, some interior flaking of paint, surface scratches on tile tops, none detracting from appearance .

Description circa 1940, USA, the mosaic tile-clad two-tier table reverse painted in a gold leaf, green and black mottled abstracted design, by artist Karin van Leyden. A rare and elegant collaboration by the legendary Hollywood Society architect-designer and the noted modernist artist. Signed “Bottega Karin”.
