A small, organic modern side table/ coffee table which plate consists of precious petrified wood, showing a black surface adorned by white veins running through it. A small natural built whole in the middle, the petrified tree bark around the edge and the great shaped metal feet makes this modern organic table a very unique one.

Petrifaction is the result of a tree having been replaced by stone via a mineralization process that often includes permineralization and replacement. The organic materials making up cell walls have been replicated with minerals. Unlike other plant fossils, which are typically impressions or compressions, petrified wood is a three-dimensional representation of the original organic material which took millions of years to built.
