Rare rectangular "Etruscan Spiral" coffee table, in patinated bronze and pewter by Phillip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on front side). Original gallery label on bottom. This abstract geometric pattern is stunning and this table is truly a work of art.

”Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, Sculpture II”, paper catalog published in the 1960’s, on page 22 there is a photo of a coffee table with this pattern. In the back of the catalog is a description which reads: “ETRUSCAN SPIRAL: Bronze forms embedded in pewter create a pattern reminiscent of ancient Etruscan artistry. The design flows softly along the beautifully sculptured form of the table.” -
