Regency Mahogany Center or Games Table
-
Description
This is a very good example of a small Regency Center or Games Table that dates to the early 19th century. The table features a square pedestal highlighted by inlaid acanthus leaves and line inlay. It has four out swept legs with ebony heads and beaded legs terminating in fine brass toe caps. The table is in overall very good condition; at some point in the past it was french polished. The graphic design of this table makes it an eye-catcher. The table would work well as a side table or even as a bed side table, in addition to being a great small center or games table.
