Exceptional in design, scale, and rarity is this wonderful, c. 1830 Anglo-Colonial Regency Barbados mahogany library table having "drum" form top with green gilt-stamped leather, real and blind drawers with brass lion-mask ring pulls between top and bottom gadrooned edges on fluted and acanthus carved baluster form pedestal surmounting quadra-form base with lion's paw and acanthus detail. Satinwood inlay around leather top and working drawer edges. A truly exceptional and rare piece of early English colonial Caribbean furniture.
