Antique White 19th Century Swedish Country Low Table

Sold Sold
  • Description
Unique Gustavian Style coffee table with drop leaves, made in Sweden circa 1850. The table is painted white with lovely patina from age. Decorated simply with beaded trim and sits on plain tapered legs. This versatile piece was likely a dining table before it was converted to a low table earlier in its life. Two drop leaf sides extend the surface and fold down to save space. When fully open, the table measures 63 inches wide, with a reduced width of 35 inches when the drop leaves are folded down. A center drawer appointed with brass hardware is ideal for storage.
