Description Very fine George III period breakfast table attributed to Thomas Chippendale, the slightly oval top with well matched timbers (appears to be one plank, but on very close inspection, is three) over balustrade turned shaft supported by three legs with scrolled toes and scratch carved paneled sides, the top surface, although very worn, showing typical Chippendale molded edges, the whole made from fine timber and exhibiting the finest construction and finishing details associated with Chippendale's workshop.
