Provenance: an important Park Avenue collection

Of typical form with rectangular flat top table with twin adjustable bookrests, the centre column with lower carved collar upon a platform base with wood casters.

Period:	19th Century
Materials:	Mahogany and gilt brass
Condition:	Fair. Scattered shrinkage cracks commensurate with age. Minor in-painting to base. Crank handle likely missing end of finial. One significant crack extending length of hinged flap. Another significant crack running half length across top.
