This piece is wonderful a plique a jour Butterfly with a carved Chalcedony Ladies Face. This is in the likes of Lalique, Vever, Gaillard and Fouquet which were masters of Art Nouveau Jewelry. These firms made items similar to this listing. This piece is not marked at all but it is remarkable. This piece weighs 11.72 grams is 2 .25 wide and 1" long. There are small Diamonds through the wings and Diamonds on the bottom of the bust and a Pearl. The head or face of this piece is exquisitely carved and detailed in Chalcedony, so unique. There are 25 Diamonds total and one Pearl. You will not see this piece anywhere else as it is a one of a kind.
