Description
Rare Sterling Cat Brooch, Georg Jensen Inc C.1940 JoPol. Designed by Joan Polsdorfer, modernist whimsical design. The cat's head brooch, with one eye a cabochon green stone, adorned with four long whiskers. Polsdorfer was the first American jewelry designer and maker to work for Georg Jensen, USA. Stamped JoPol Sterling Georg Jensen Inc USA 256. Measures: 1.75 x 1.25 inches. Weight: 14.60 gm.
