Description
A lovely cast bronze brooch by French Parisian Art Jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997) circa 1950-60s. The medallion shaped brooch has a relief bird in the center which is surrounded by small roundel of enamel fill of green and red color. Line Vautrin is known for her playful and whimsical design that is also elegant and chic, which is showcased in this piece. She occasionally use the enamel sparsely as accent. Initialed LV on the back. It comes with a black velvet pouch. A French Collection. 2" in dia.
