This German platinum lavalier necklace set with diamonds and a natural pearl dates from circa 1910. It is designed as a narrow, criss-crossing ribbon of rose, old single-cut, and old European-cut diamonds suspending a stylized bud and silver-toned natural pearl drop, the finely articulated platinum mount with millegrain accents and engraved edges. This delicate diamond ribbon suspending an exquisite and rare natural pearl epitomizes careless and casual elegance.
