A jadeite archer's ring is the centerpiece of this dramatic torsade necklace. Jadeite (origin: Myanmar) is the supreme member of the larger jade family. It is valued for its range of colors, hardness and durability. Jadeite polishes to a glass-like surface-as this richly colored example possesses. The ring is trimmed in 18k gold rims. The necklace consists of azurite in chrysocolla beads in alternating shapes of rods and rondelles and is spaced with small gold beads. The torsade measures 18 inches and is completed with a vermeil hook and eye clasp.
