Very rare and fine 19th century Coral corallium rubrum Pendant Brooch and matching Earrings, C.1880. The set depicting carved Bacchante. The intricately carved openwork gold (tested as 14K) mounts each interspaced with fourteen silver white pearls (untested for natural). Pendant with hinged bale to allow to be worn as a brooch as well. Photographs depict colour of coral as closely as possible. Exceptional condition to all pieces. Pendant: 2.5 x 1.5 inches. Earring drops: 1.75 inches. Total Item Weight: 45.28 grams.
