Indicolite tourmaline (origin: Namibia) in a chubby pear shaped cabochon cut is featured in this one-of-a-kind cocktail ring. "Indicolite" comes from the Latin word for the "indicum plant". It is the rarest color of the 14 mineral species of the tourmaline family. This blue/green gem weighs 18.26 carats, possesses inclusions typically found in cabochon cut stones (what the French refer to a le jardin) and is polished to a glassy finish. The tourmaline is bezel set in a hand fabricated 18k yellow gold mount into which are set two brilliant cut diamonds The ring is a size 7 and may be sized as needed.
