During the 1970s, the incorporation of hardstone dials ranging from malachite to coral and from lapis to opal were carefully selected to fuse both the concepts of nature and time together as part of an emerging fashion style. The incorporation of Opal is very rare and seldomly seen in many timepieces from this period as it was a very sensitive stone to work with and there are extremely limited production of examples known of this design by Ebel.
As a perfect example of a high fashion styled timepieces which were designed with dual function as both a jewelry accessory and a timepiece, The present cuff is definitely a statement piece in any wardrobe. The timepiece is fully signed and is made in 18kt yellow gold designed at 36mm at the widest part and gradually becomes less wider to 26mm at the thinnest part as it continues under the wrist. The dial which is opal is in perfect condition and is incredibly vibrant as it catches the light with every movement of the hand. Additionally, the timepiece is in perfect condition and has been time tested for accuracy.
