    This remarkable portrait depicts a noted historical figure as a child: Anna Elizabeth Dickinson (1842-1932), was the daughter of John and Mary Dickinson, Philadelphia Quakers and devout abolitionists. After attending the Westtown School, Anna Elizabeth Dickinson devoted her life to the abolition of slavery and women’s suffrage, becoming a famous author, orator, lecturer, and educator. She became the first woman to speak before the United States Congress
