American, 1971
Susan Vecsey was born in Somerville, New Jersey and currently lives and works in both New York City and East Hampton, New York. Vecsey works in a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, and watercolor, and she often experiments with different techniques to create new effects and textures in her work.
Vecsey's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and she has received numerous awards and accolades for her contributions to the field of painting. Her paintings are held in many public and private collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, and the Albertina Museum in Vienna.
