Description
This is a Buffalo Bill item that would have appeal for collectors of both western and Buffalo Bill meomorabelia. It is a tintype circa 1890's (the Buffalo Bill shows started in 1883). It depicts two young men, dressed in their finest clothes, sitting in a horse drawn buggy perceptually on their way to a Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. There is a poster on the wall of the barn (very rare and I have never seen on a tintype).
The close up image says:
"Buffalo Bill

Rough Riders"
Tintype measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/8"
Included is an 11" x 14" sepia tone photograph that I had made fr -

These rare and unique items were sold during the late 1800's and early 1900's to encourage and educate young children on the importance of saving money, with the majority of them having been made in America. We are leading experts in this field and one of the foremost dealers, having traded in mechanical banks since 1976.
