Walnut Saber-Leg Credenza by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb

Description
A handsome dark walnut credenza by the great T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb in Grand Rapids. The famed saber leg ascends this piece to frame its elegance. Two doors flank three center drawers. The original porcelain gold-dipped pulls remain on the center drawers, with new jewelry-artisan crafted organic "moon" brass pulls added to the cabinet door faces. Excellently executed hardware for a piece of this importance. Original labels remain in tact, as well as the presence of a "Grand Rapids" metal tag, great specimens ensuring authenticity. Crafted in 1955.
