    An early 19th century Qing dynasty stool or small table in elm, beautifully crafted of a mitred top with rounded edges on four slightly splayed spoke legs joined by high box stretcher that wraps around each of the legs and features a raised center section on each bar. The timber is beautifully worn and rubbed. The table illustrates the fabulous skill of the Chinese joiner of the era.
