American. Anonymous maker. Circa 1925. Measures: 17" H (displayed with handle up) x 14" W (top) x 10½" W (bottom)
This paint-decorated sewing “bucket,” robustly carved in high relief, has four panels depicting Roses, a hunting dog with bird in mouth, a recumbent deer, and a bulldog. The contents include sewing pieces dating to the time period when this bucket was made. -
