Description
An antique Spanish Colonial bench likely from Peru, circa late 19th century. It displays a wonderful style that was clearly influenced by the indigenous aesthetic. The horse yoke shaped back is adorned with hammered and gilt metal insets, studs and finials. On the back, visible metal brackets service both functional and ornamental purposes.
