1970s artistic Italian pair of pearl white Murano glass lamps with romantic flair. Exceptional creation by Barovier e Toso (signed), true collector's pieces exquisitely worked with a touch of pure gold in the pearlized white frosted Murano glass that creates an iridescence reflecting light (a process prohibited today), very soft to the touch and to the eye. They are highlighted by a blown glass sphere in smoked grey worked with sophisticated pulegoso. Every detail speaks of high quality, the twisting ribbed conical bases, the undulated bodies with scalloped edge, the sculptural glass waved decorations in relief on the sides.
