Important and rare “Sculpture Top Coffee Table” in welded and patinated steel, color pigments, 24 karat gold leaf, painted wood with glass top by Paul Evans, American 1973 (signed “Paul Evans 73’ on side). This was custom made to be a coffee table—it is extremely rare. Most of these welded panels were designed for cabinets or wall hanging flat sculpture panels. Glass top currently fits top however a larger pieces of glass can be made for larger specs. This table is an extraordinary example of Paul Evans' artistic genius.
