Description
Bucchero Vase designed by Gio Ponti and by the great Italian Artisan Carlo Alberto Rossi of the 40's.
The bucchero is a special clay, from the Etruscan times, was dried in open air and ,after baked in oven at very high temperature, which removes oxygen and transforms clay into ferrous-oxide, which is a black-glossy-thin paste.
They were last shown at IX Triennale di Milano 1951. -
