French 19th Century Painted Bistro Table with Marble Top

Description
This gorgeous iron and marble bistro table comes from 19th century France. The marble top is in wonderful antique condition with unique and beautiful coloration. The top is supported by the table’s green-painted iron base. The green paint that coats the iron has aged marvelously, with previous coats and iron exposed due to weathering and time. The decorative supports have been cast with a foliate theme, with foliage, flowers and thistle all present. They are braced, adding to the table’s stability and keeping it from wobbling. A fantastic French antique piece that can be used indoors or out. c.1880.
