Pair of Ceramic Foo Dog Lamps on Fossil Stone Bases, circa 1960

Description
An unusual pair of Foo dog table lamps mounted on fossil stone bases in the style of Michael Taylor.
The subtle stone glazed surfaces of the ceramic dogs are in stark contrast to the texture of the fossil stone bases.
The lamps are substantial the dogs measure 15" H. 12" L. and 7" W. on bases measuring 12.75" x 9. 75" x 2" thick with each weighing a little over 30 lbs apiece.
Both lamps are in excellent condition
The lamps have been professionally rewired. We are happy to include the original shades which are probably 40+ years old and should be relined at the very least and ideally recovered. -
