Description
The brain child of Massimo Vignelli, this ubiquitous melamine dinnerware is designed to be stackable in a compact way. originally manufactured in italy, it won the first compasso d’oro award for good design in 1964. introduced later in the united states and manufactured by heller, the dinnerware became extremely popular, especially after it was produced in a rainbow of brilliant colors.
This large collection also features a few pieces designed and manufactured by Dansk Design and designed by Gunnar Cyren.

The set consist of:
4 Serving Platters (2 yellow,1 blue & 1 blue)
21 dinner plates ( 4 green, 7 yellow, 4 blue and 6 red)
11 cups (4 red, 4 white and 3 yellow)NOT PICTURED
20 soup plates/bowls (4 green, 4 blue, 6 red and 6 yellow)
10 saucers (4 red, 4 yellow and 2 white) NOT PICTURED
2 Serving trays (1 white and 1 red) by Gunnar Cyren for Dansk
3 four compartment dip trays by Gunnar Cyren for Dansk (1 yellow, 1 red and 1 white)
1 blue 4 litter salad bowl by Massimo Vignelli dated 1982
1 blue 2 litter salad bowl by Massimo Vignelli dated 1982
2 Large Salad bowls by Gunnar Cyren for Dansk salad bowls (1 yellow and 1 red)

All pieces are in vintage condition, some scratches are present in the dinner plates and salad bowls due to use.

Cups: 3" diameter x4" tall.
Dansk Dip Tray: 11" square and 1 1/2" high
Water pitcher: 5" diameter x 8 1/4" tall
Dansk Salad Bowls: 10 1/2" diameter x 6 3/4" tall
Large Massimo Vignelli salad bowl: 10 1/2" diameter x 6" tall
Small Massimo Vignelli salad bowl: 8" diameter x 5 3/4" tall

Condition:	Good. All of the pieces are from good to excellent condition, some of the plates and the Vignelli bowls show more use then the rest of the pieces, keep in mind that these pieces are at least 30 years old and were used for a good part of their life.
