Description
Pair of 19th century Renaissance revival Italian ebonized black walnut corner cabinets. The two parts construction were superbly detailed with bone marquetry inlays depicting Renaissance period attired figures surrounded by scrolling foliated designs with gryphons and grape vines. The elaborate inlaid designs on the two cabinets are in a complete inverted pattern, making the pieces subtle and stunning at the same time.
