"The Other" Mirrored Chest for Baleri Italia, 2005

Description
A fully mirrored glass chest of drawers adorned with turquoise colored zig zags on four steel legs. Each drawer has a highly engineered soft close and opening mechanism and is finished inside with turquoise lacquer. The chest comes with a key attached to three delightful hanging woolen pom-poms in red and yellow, complimenting the turquoise details in the glass.

Ilse Crawford is a designer who has espoused the old meets new, mix and match approach for a long time, both as launch editor of ELLE Decoration in 1989 and now through her design and interiors consultancy Stusdioilse which famously designed Soho House, New York.
