Description
With its stunning craft and impressive scale, its hard to not see the beauty in an object of former utility. This exquisitely made propeller is formed from several solid wood planes; milled, glued, and sculpted to perfection. Every imperfection on this piece is a celebration of its history and travels, every story filled scar adding beauty throughout its 90" span. The blades are capped with hammered and riveted brass which are truly two objects of sculpture in their own right. Each rivet varies in material and form and glisten with colors of steel and copper. This propeller is a collector's item, a conversation piece, and though retired from the sky it's ready to be mounted high on a wall for years of appreciation.
