Description
A small floral painting from the end of the 19th century, France. The artist used short, deliberate brush stokes to create the Impressionist feel of the piece. It depicts a blue vase or jug, with handles, filled with flowers and foliage in bold autumnal colors of wine, gold, orange and browns. The work is set in a small carved gold gilt frame and has been signed by the artist. Oil on board.
