A Japanese fan-shaped lacquer box with tassels, red exterior with slightly scalloped cover. The interior is fitted with seven smaller fan-shaped trays highlighted with golden trim and gold power splashes on the bottom, using the maki-e technique that renders the piece a subtle beauty and understated luxury.
