Paul Mccobb Mahogany and Brass 6000 Series Directional Cabinet

Description
1957 Paul McCobb designed Directional chest for Calvin in bleached mahogany and brass. Despite its relatively diminutive size (48" long), the chest offers multiple storage compartments (four shallow top and six spacious lower drawers). Cabinet has been refinished to mirror the original 'sand' finish, and brass trim has been polished. Small chrome pulls for top drawers have been left untouched and show wear / tarnish, as does one of the brass 'plates' on which one of the lower mahogany drawer pulls is mounted. Overall, excellent, restored condition sans aforementioned minor wear.
Retains both paper and metal manufacturer's tag: Calvin Grand Rapids The Calvin Group Designed by Paul McCobb.
