Description
A Northern European flat weave rug circa 1930. The rug's design incorporates traditional weaving techniques with a bold modernists color palette. Horizontal stripes are detailed with animal figures, perhaps lions, some in white others in shades of blue and purple on an olive ground. Rug is signed but not attributed to a particular artists.
