Pierre Chapo who was born into a family of craftsmen in Paris, was greatly inspired by designers Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier, as well as the Bauhaus movement. His modernist designs were heavily focused on craftsmanship. His passion for wood can be seen in his seminal works like the S11 Chair, the T22 L’Oeil Coffee Table, the R08 Sideboard, R16 Sideboard and the T21 dining table. -
