MID CENTURY TEAK, METAL AND LAMINATE SERVING BAR CART
Probably Danish, circa 1960s; unmarked
Item # 809DPG20P
An unusual and rather excellent serving cart, it is crafted with figured teak veneers with white laminate serving surfaces and rides over polished metal legs. The sealed top slides on grooves to reveal a spacious cabinet for drink prep while employing laminate to protect from spill damage. We love the key that is designed to appear as a knob, a very attractive and design appropriate little element that brings the upper portion of the cabinet together with the legs beautifully. It rests over half-moon castor wheels and operates very smoothly.
Measurements: 28 9/16” H x 16 1/2” W x 33” D
Condition Report:
Old finish with some staining and wear; retains original key/knob. Laminate is original with some minor discolorations & light scuffing. Legs with some tarnish and wear. Overall remaining in excellent vintage condition. -
