Pair of 'Mikado' chairs by Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen with back and legs in nut wood, seat of beech. Model J152. Designed in 1996. Manufactured by Kvist Møbler.
The Mikado chair is a modern interpretation of the 18th century Windsor chair, with a construction that uses the same principles as the Windsor chair, whereby the seat holds both the back and the legs. -
