Wooden Armchair, The Netherlands 1950s

This wooden armchair from The Netherlands has a rustic yet modern design. The massive wood frame is completed by the low-sitting woven rope seat, which has a geometric pattern. The weave is done very neatly, and with the rope material it guarantees firm support. While the chair is defined by characteristics of simplicity and functionality, the slightly bent backrest and the armrests connecting to the back legs add a stylishnesh to the design. The warm colour of the wood and the organic materials make this chair a great addition to the right interior. ~H.
