18TH CENTURY AUBUSSON TAPESTRY FRAGMENT IN THE CHINOISERIE TASTE
With two flamingoes in the foreground, standing in front of a cascading waterfall running down from a rocky hill.
At the source of the water sits a red urn surrounded by red flowers. Exotic flowers and foliage throughout.
Reduced in size, surrounded by a plain double border in yellow ochre and dark green.
France c, 1760.
