Advertising model by Léon Bénigni (1892-1948) for Rival lipstick.
1940’s watercolor on cardboard which was a project for a lipstick advertisement.
Dimension without frame: 23cm x 29cm. Frame dimension: 43cm x 53cm.
Sold with an ink and pencil sketch signed Benigni.
Leon Benigni was a famous poster artist in the 1920-1940’s from whom very few original pieces survived. His poster praising the bath city of Brides-les-Bains is among the most famous in the 1920’s. - More Information
